TVLine Last year. “I mean, the idea of walking in another man’s or another woman’s shoes is so relevant and so important right now. We’ve become so divided in our world that the ability to cross that political line and just dealing with humanity and the individual person sharing a moment on the planet with you is really relevant.”
“There was also a quaint side to the show, because it had this period feel because Sam traveled anywhere in his own life,” he added. “It felt a bit old-fashioned, but I hope they get the truth and the feelings about it, and not try to make it slick. Sam was that naive kid who happened to be a brilliant scientist who stumbled upon something and all of a sudden was thrown into all these different lives and worlds and people and situations that he could never have imagined growing up in. I just hope they will try to keep it, but you know, I don’t know what they’ll do.”
