Henry Cavill finds Netflix’s League of Legends series ‘incredible’

Just because Henry Cavill is busy multitasking between playing Geralt on Netflix the witcher, grabbing a magnifying glass as Sherlock Holmes in Netflix’s “Enola Holmes” movies, and (soon) going back to tights once more as The Man of Steel (Superman is really coming back this time), doesn’t mean that he can’t find the time to follow his geek loves and discover what’s new. And after listening to his interview with BBC Radio 1 film critic Ali Leadit’s pretty clear that Cavill is a big fan of what Netflix and League of Legends have going on with their animated series Esoteric.

“Yes, I really did [enjoy Arcane]! I’m so glad you told me because when you said it, I immediately came home and was like, “Well, Natalie, this guy at work told me I should watch Arcanum.” And she was like, ‘Oh, I’ve heard some really good things about this.’ I couldn’t stop looking at it, and it was getting really late, and Natalie was like, ‘Okay, we should probably go to bed,’ and I was like, ‘No, no, no, no, no, no, I have to keep looking.’ And she said, ‘Yeah, okay, I’m with you; we should definitely keep watching. It’s amazing, and I’m so grateful you brought this to me because I might have missed it otherwise,” Cavill shared of his wife Natalie’s love and appreciation for the award-winning animated series. Now, here’s a look at Cavill’s full interview with BBC Radio 1:

Esoteric co-creator Christian Linke was present at the September ceremony to receive their Emmy Award. “Thank you for that. It’s a big deal for us because we come from video games. It’s been amazing to see the world embracing our characters and our stories, so thank you to Netflix, who believed in us from the start; thank you to Riot Games, who worked on all the IP… and to all the people who have worked with our game and League of Legends over the past 12 or so years who have helped make it as great as it is now “, Linke said. Now, here’s a look at the official trailer and preview for the first season of the Emmy-winning series:

by Netflix Esoteric delves into the delicate balance between the wealthy town of Piltover and the seedy underbelly of Zaun. Tensions between these city-states boil over with the creation of hextech – a way for anyone to control magical energy – in Piltover, and in Zaun, a new drug called shimmer turns humans into monsters. The rivalry between towns divides families and friends as Arcane brings to life the relationships that shape some of League of Legends’ famous champions, including Vi, Jinx, Caitlyn, Jayce, and Viktor. Based on the world behind the game League of Legends, the animated event series presents a complex world filled with moral decisions, breathtaking animations and suspense. narration.
