Bear Grylls Firm The Natural Studios signs YouTuber Coyote Peterson – Deadline

Bear Grylls has turned to streaming for the next generation of talented adventurers.

His company The Natural Studiosa joint venture with independent production giant Banijay, formalized a deal with YouTube wildlife documentarian Coyote Peterson, whose Brave Wilderness channel has 20.1 million subscribers.

The partnership will see him collaborate with adventurer Bear Grylls and The Natural Studios co-CEO Delbert Shoopman will create intellectual property for audiences around the world.

Peterson and Grylls kick off their collaboration with Brave Wilderness episode titled ‘The game of the horns,’ which focuses on the plight of African rhino species. Lensed in the Eastern Cape, encourages viewers to participate in their ‘Save the Horns’ fundraising initiative.

Peterson started his YouTube channel in 2014, dubbed “The King of Sting”, he became known for his encounters with the world’s most dangerous and often misunderstood species. He won an International Emmy Kids Award in 2015 for his online series,breaking trailand since 2017, holds a Guinness World Record for the most subscribed digital account dedicated to animals.

He directed Animal Planet’s Coyote Peterson: Braving Natureand has also appeared on a host of daytime and nighttime talk shows, including Conan,andThe Late Show with Stephen Colbert,and during the pandemic, stepped up for a video call with President Joe Biden and Dr. Anthony Fauci to promote the vaccine program.

Shoopman and Grylls – known for shows such as Man against Nature, Run wild with Bear Grylls and Hostile planet — launched The Natural Studios in 2019 with support from Banijay.
